“Every drop in the
ocean counts.”

Transformer's Siren Arts program is thrilled to present “Every drop in the ocean counts.” – a series of weekly artist activations and artist-led events presented throughout the fall.

“Every drop in the ocean counts.” commences with a large-scale video installation by NJ based videographer Bartlett Lentini, presented during the iconic Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park September 18-20, 2026. Filling the Siren Arts space at the Asbury Ocean Club corner of 4th Ave & Kingsley Street with curated footage from his extensive video documentation of Siren Arts’ summer performance art events on Asbury Park's 2nd Avenue beach, Lentini’s sweeping 12ft ‘video collage’ will run 24/7 for street & sidewalk viewing throughout Sea.Hear.Now. Part of Sea.Hear.Now’s “Stokehenge” visual arts programing, Lentini’s video installation is featured in tandem with large scale art installations throughout Asbury Park’s oceanfront by renowned local and international artists including Shepard Fairey.

Launched in 2017 by Transformer Founder & Director Victoria Reis, Siren Arts empowers participating artists and grows community around a shared reverence for the ocean, the intersectional realities of climate change, & the deep interconnectedness of human and environmental life — introducing and advancing bold, innovative contemporary art practices along the way. Siren Arts’ Fall 2026 programming with “Every drop in the ocean counts.” –a quote from legendary performance artist and musician Yoko Ono– signifies that even small moments of creative interaction and artmaking have an impact on our individual and collective inspiration. A mural of Yoko Ono’s quote, stylistically painted on the walls inside Siren Arts by emerging NJ based artist Mackenzie Brennan, will remain a constant visual throughout this fall’s programming, further inspiring our community as people pass by the Siren Arts space each day.

"Advancing Transformer’s and our Siren Arts program’s intentions to empower participating artists, and to build community through creative experimentation, “Every drop in the ocean counts.” is a celebration of our individual and collective power to effect social change and increase human connection through art." – Victoria Reis, Siren Arts Curator; Founder, Executive & Artistic Director, Transformer

Following the Sea.Hear.Now Festival launch, “Every drop in the ocean counts.” will continue as a weekly series of Saturday artist activations and artist-led events at Siren Arts exhibition space in Asbury Park, running September 26 through October 24. Featuring a mix of eclectic programming including skill shares, afternoon dance parties, collage workshops, storytelling and more hosted by a roster of both local and visiting guest artists - “Every drop in the ocean counts.” is an open invitation to come and get creative!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

Bart Lentini has been working as a professional in the visual arts since 2010 and is the owner and operator of Bart Lentini Photography LLC, a successful photo and video production service established in 2015. His storytelling practice combines professional visual training with his own unique perspective on the world. His message and values are reflected in his work through still photography and filmmaking across commercial, fine art and private client work. Lentini became connected with Transformer’s Siren Arts program in 2022, creating short-film experiences documenting the artists in residence performance art works during the program’s annual summer series. Lentini’s personal work explores historic and abandoned spaces, resulting in a growing collection of fine art photographs that have been exhibited in New Jersey galleries and pop-up shows. His passion for other humans and the changing world around him are what drive him to create visual experiences that bring the viewer close to the story through his personal perspective.

Mackenzie Brennan is a Jersey Shore–based aspiring visual artist and Fine Arts student at Brookdale Community College, currently developing a multidisciplinary art practice with a focus on metalsmithing and watercolor. As an emerging artist, Mackenzie continues to build her practice through hands-on learning, exploring new mediums, and finding her voice as a metalsmith and visual artist. Working with Siren Arts as a Program Assistant over the past year has shaped her artistic journey, allowing her to experience firsthand the lasting impact a space for independent artists can have on a community — bringing artists, locals, and visitors together while creating opportunities for connection and creativity throughout Asbury Park.

“Every drop in the ocean counts.” will be on view 24/7 for public sidewalk & street viewing September 18–20 as part of Sea.Hear.Now Festival, followed by Saturday artist-led workshops at Siren Arts September 26– October 24. Follow @sirenartsap for updates on workshop & artist schedule!
